Weekend Division Championship: Knights vs. Sofa Kings on Friday, June 9th

The Knights are the 2005-2006 CAHL Cup Champions and Gold Medalists after defeating the Sofa Kings 8-3 in game three of the best of three series. The Sofa Kings are the CAHL 2005-2006 Silver Medal winners. The Knights' Steve Luft lead all playoff scorers with 25 points and was awarded the CAHL 2005-2006 Playoff MVP Trophy for his outstanding play throughout the playoffs.

Cory Guenther and Steve Luft each had an incredible six point night for the Knights. Cory Guenther scored a hat trick and had three assists while Steve Luft scored twice and had four assists. Rodney Aragon scored the CAHL Cup and Gold Medal winning goal at 6:42 of the second period and finished the game with an excellent four points. Joey Sewell had a great three point game with two goals and one assist. Andrew Baling also had a very good game with two assists. B.J. Zafra turned away 22 shots including some great stops throughout the night.

Marco Scheiwiller was awesome for the Sofa Kings scoring all three goals for the hat trick. Blake Lowden, Kevin Wong, Caley Smyth, Jay Deboice, and Laun Saunders all had solid one assist games.

Steve Luft, in addition to winning the CAHL 2005-2006 Playoff MVP Trophy, was also awarded the CAHL 2005-2006 Top Scorer Trophy for his amazing season in leading all scorers. Laun Saunders was awarded the CAHL 2005-2006 MVP Trophy for having the highest percentage of his team's offence. His outstanding 60 point season accounted for 14.5% of his team's total offence. Joey Sewell was the winner of the CAHL 2005-2006 Top Defenceman Trophy for his incredible season in which he led all defenceman in scoring. B.J. Zafra was awarded the CAHL 2005-2006 Top Goalie Trophy for his outstanding season in which he led all goalies with the best goals against average.

Weekend Division Championship: Knights vs. Sofa Kings on Friday, May 12th

The Knights were defeated 8-5 by the Sofa Kings in game one of the best of three Weekend Division Championship. Laun Saunders led all Sofa Kings with an outstanding five point night scoring a hat trick and two assists. Marco Scheiwiller and Jay Deboice both had excellent four point games. Marco Scheiwiller scored twice and had two assists while Jay Deboice got one goal and three assists. Jay Cloutier had a solid two point night and Kevin Wong added a goal.

Rodney Aragon had an incredible five point game for the Knights with a hat trick and two assists. Andrew Baling and Brad Unryn both had good two point games. Cory Guenther scored a goal and Cody Hind added an assist. B.J. Zafra made 28 stops including an unbelievable glove save on a cross crease pass which appeared to be a sure goal. Just a minute later he made a great pad stack save on a close in shot which sent the puck 30 feet in the air and out of the rink.

Sofa Kings vs. Dragons: Friday, January 13th

The Sofa Kings won 8-4 against the Dragons. Blake Lowden had a great four point night for the Sofa Kings scoring a goal and adding three assists. Tyler Penner had a big three point game. Jay Cloutier, Jay Deboice, and Laun Saunders all made solid two point contributions. Jaryd Burton, Caley Smyth, and Jeff Sears also scored. John Maughan and Mike Wasylyk led the way for the Dragons with big two point games each. Andy Chan added a goal.

Sofa Kings vs. Knights: Friday, January 6th

The Sofa Kings won 15-6 against the Knights. The Knights's amazing perfect 11-0 record to start the season has come to an end. Marc Prefontaine led the Sofa Kings with an unbelievable record breaking 13 point performance. He had an incredible seven goals and six assists. Laun Saunders and Marco Scheiwiller both had great four point games. Laun Saunders scored a hat trick and had an assist. Marco Scheiwiller scored twice and added a pair of assists. Caley Smyth also had a big game with three points. Rodney Aragon and Andrew Baling led the Knights with great four and three point games. Joey Sewell, Cory Guenther, and Lorne Nguyen all had solid two point efforts.

Dragons vs. Sofa Kings: Friday, December 16th

The Dragons lost to Sofa Kings by the score of 4-10. John Maughan and Andrew Baker both had big games for the Dragons with a pair of points each. Dan Tinaburri, Mike Wasylyk, and Dwight Efford scored a goal apiece. Jay Deboice had a great night for the Sofa Kings with three points. Caley Smyth, Laun Saunders, Blake Lowden, and Jay Cloutier all had solid two point games.

Sofa Kings vs. Dragons: Friday, November 25th

The Sofa Kings lost to the Dragons 1-13. Mike Wasylyk had a fantastic game for the Dragons scoring four goals including the game winner. Dragons' captain Andrew Baker had a huge night scoring a hat trick. Josh Ail had a great three point game with two goals and an assist. Goalie Darren Yates also had a great night stopping 24 of 25 shots for a .960 save percentage. Alvin Chim and Eric Nauss both had big two point games. Jordan Scott and Dan Tinaburri scored a goal apiece. Christian Brix, Grant Caswell, Dwight Efford, and Davin Johnsrud each added an assist. Laun Saunders scored a short handed goal for the Sofa Kings. The Sofa Kings' goalie Jimmy Kao turned aside 30 shots.

Sofa Kings vs. Stickheads: Saturday, November 19th

The Sofa Kings were defeated 4-7 by the Stickheads. Daniel Way and Raymond Chow led the way for the Stickheads with a pair of goals each. Sean Chapman and Tommy Nguyen both had solid two point games. Jimmy Diep and Mats Hansen added a goal each. Tyler Penner and Laun Saunders had a big night for the Kings with three points apiece. Jeff Sears contributed a goal and Jay Deboice added two assists.

Dragons vs. Sofa Kings: Friday, November 4th

The Dragons lost to the Sofa Kings 2-6. Caley Smyth had a great four point night (two goals and two assists) for the Sofa Kings. Laun Saunders also had a big game with three points. Blake Lowden and Dave Howat chipped in two points each. Eric Nauss led the way for the Dragons scoring two goals. Andrew Baker and Andy Chan picked up an assist each. The Dragons' goalie, Mark Gord, had a big night turning aside 37 of the 43 shots he faced from the Sofa Kings.

Stickheads vs. Sofa Kings

The Stickheads beat the Sofa Kings 8-4. Richard Colin had an outstanding game scoring four goals for the Stickheads. Daniel Way also had a big game with three assists. Steven Nguyen, Shaun Hook, Tommy Nguyen, and Mats Hansen all contributed two points each. Huy Lam added a goal. Tyler Penner led the way for the Sofa Kings with a great two goal game. Blake Lowden, Tony Quach, and goalie Jimmy Kao added two points apiece.

Sofa Kings vs. Knights

Every Knight including their goalie had at least one point. The Knights defeated the Sofa Kings 0-15. Rocco Bartolotti had an awesome game leading all scorers with five points. Cory Guenther scored a hat trick and added an assist for a huge four point night. Steve Luft, Joey Sewell, and John Inaba also had huge nights with four points apiece. Lorne Nguyen had a great three point game and scored his first goal of the season. Ian King, Jared Schaab, Rodney Aragon, Alfred Wong, and Brodie Martin all had solid two point nights. B.J. Zafra had a great game stopping all 20 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the season. The Sofa Kings' goalie Jimmy Kao turned aside 27 shots.

The Knights beat the Sofa Kings 4-13. Curtney Aragon had a five point performance with two goals and three assists. Joey Sewell and Brad Unryn each had three point nights while Rodney Aragon, Brodie Martin, and Jared Schaab each scored two goals. Knights president and GM Alfred Wong added a goal and an assist for a two point game. Laun Saunders, Blake Lowden, Kevin Wong, and Mike Westlund each scored a goal for the Sofa Kings.

The Sofa Kings beat the Dragons 15-1. Three Sofa King players scored hat tricks. Blake Lowden had a seven point game with a hat trick and four assists. Marc Prefontaine had a six point game with a hat trick and three assists. Tony Quach also had a hat trick and two assists for a five point night. Alvin Chim scored for the Dragons.

Sofa Kings vs. Stickheads

The Sofa Kings were defeated by the Stickheads 2-6. Martin Leung led the way for the Stickheads with a two goal night. Tony Quach scored both goals for the Sofa Kings.
