Division AA
Championship: Divers vs. Blues on Tuesday, April 4th

The
Divers are the 2005-2006 CAHL Cup Champions and Gold Medal
winners after defeating the
Blues 7-5
in game two winning the series 2-0. The Blues are the CAHL
Silver Medal winners.
Vince Pitt scored the CAHL
Cup winning goal for the Divers at 9:57 of the third period and
was awarded the CAHL Playoff MVP Trophy for his outstanding play
throughout the playoffs.
Vince Pitt finished with a
four point night scoring two goals and two assists.
Bob Faktor had an incredible
game with four goals and one assist for a total of five points.
Brent Gay and
Tyler Brown both had very
good two assist games. Robby Mckeen
and
Kevin Lewis each picked up
an assist. Jason Miller
added an empty net insurance goal with 12 seconds remaining in
the game.
Steve Miller was awesome
throughout the game turning aside 34 shots including some great
point blank chances.
Laird Dyck led the Blues with
two goals and two assists for an excellent four point night.
Both
Tim Buckley and
Tim Cross had big two point
games.
Brian Ross and
Scott Atkinson scored a
goal apiece. Ben Van Der Lee,
Lynden Dyck, and
Derek Hamill each added an
assist.
Dorlan Schick was great in
net making some big stops including a huge glove save in the
second period.
Dorlan Schick was awarded
the CAHL Top Goalie Trophy for his outstanding season in which
he led all goalies with the best goals against average.
Steve Atkinson won the
CAHL Top Scorer Trophy for his amazing season in leading all
scorers. Scott Atkinson
was the winner of the CAHL Top Defenceman Trophy for his
incredible season in which he led all defenceman in scoring.

defeated the
Blues 4-2
in game one of the best of three Division AA Championship.
Jason Miller led all Divers
with a great three point game.
Aaron Young,
Vince Pitt, and
Craig Bezjack all had big
two point nights.
Dan Bourgault and
Kevin Lewis both added an
assist.
Scott Atkinson and
Ben Van Der Lee scored for
the Blues.
Steve Atkinson,
Brian Ross, and
Matt Dyck each picked up an
assist.
Dorlan Schick turned aside
24 shots including a number of great stops from close range.

Playoffs: Black Bulls
vs. Blues on Monday, March 6th

Black Bulls lost to the
Blues 1-12
in the first game of the best of three games series.
Ben Van Der Lee,
Laird Dyck, and
Scott Atkinson all scored
hat tricks for the Blues.
Ben Van Der Lee had three
goals and three assists for an amazing six point game.
Laird Dyck got three goals and
two assists for an excellent five point night.
Scott Atkinson scored
three goals and had one assist for a great four point effort.
Matt Dyck had a huge five
point night with four assists and one goal.
Steve Atkinson,
Tim Buckley, and
Lynden Dyck all had big three
point games.
Brian Ross added a goal and
Kevin Wall picked up an
assist. Blues goalie Dorlan Schick
stopped 12 of the 13 shots he faced for a .923 save percentage.
Landin Sharkey scored
for the Black Bulls with Mike Hammer
getting the assist.

Team Record
The
Blues' incredible

streak has come to an end. It began on October 11th, 2005 and
continued until January 9th, 2006. The previous record was

winning streak by defeating them 9-7.
Craig Bezjack led the
Divers with an excellent five point night. He scored a hat
trick, including the game winner, and had two assists.

Jarret Mann also had great
games.

two assists for a four point night.
Jarret Mann had a hat trick.
Matt Dyck responded for the
Blues with a great three point effort.

Chaynne Klatt scored for
the Rockets. The Rockets goalie
Phil Bonk made a total of 44
saves including an incredible 25 saves in the first period.

Scoring Records
Steve Atkinson has set
three new regular season scoring records. He has set a new
record for most points in a regular season with
41, breaking the
previous record of 39.
He has also set a new record for most assists in a regular
season with 23,
breaking the previous record of
21. In addition, he
has set a new record for most assists in a single game with
6, breaking the
previous record of 5.

incredible night as well scoring four goals and adding an assist
for a five point night.

Flyers vs. Blues:
Tuesday, November
22nd
The
Flyers lost to the
Blues
6-7 in one of the most
dramatic games of the season. Tied 4-4 with only 2:05 left in
the third period,
Derek Hamill of the Blues
scored to take a 5-4 lead. Just 27 seconds later, at 1:38,
Brian Santangelo scored
for the Flyers to tie the game at 5-5. A mere 16 seconds after
that, and with only 1:22 left to go,
Ben Van Der Lee scored for
the Blues to take the lead once again. Only 18 seconds later at 1:04,
Brian Santangelo scores
again to tie the game up one more time for the Flyers. That was
Brian Santangelo's
second goal within a 34 second span and also his third and hat
trick goal of the game. The last 1:04 of the third period
trickled down without any more goals meaning a shootout was
needed to decide the outcome. After all the shooters went for
the Flyers and the first four shooters for the Blues, the
shootout was tied at 2-2. The Blues fifth shooter,
Ben Van Der Lee, scored the
shootout and game winning goal ending one of the most exciting
games of the season.

Blues.

scorers with a huge five point game.

trick with two quick goals in the first period and one more
early in the second period.
Ben Van Der Lee and
Scott McCallion both had
big nights with three points each.
Laird Dyck had a solid two
point game with a goal and an assist.
Steve Atkinson and
Derek Hamill added a goal
apiece.
Landin Sharkey had a
great game for the Bulls scoring a hat trick.
Jason Wawryk had three
assists and
Rob MacEachern added
a pair of points.

Thrashers were defeated
2-15 by the
Blues. Steve Atkinson
scored four goals for his third hat trick of the season. He also
notched four assists for a fantastic total of eights points.
Derek Hamill had a huge game
with two goals and four helpers.
Andrew Griffin and
Scott McCallion both had
big games adding four and three points.
Lynden Dyck and
Laird Dyck scored a pair of
goals. Tim Cross,
Scott Atkinson, and
Matt Dyck contributed two
points apiece.
Mark Voghell and
Mark Sebastian scored
for the Thrashers. The Thrashers goalie,
Steve Tolhurst, had a
huge 47 save performance.

The
Reapers
lost to the
Blues
4-7.
Steve Atkinson led the way
for the Blues scoring a hat trick and adding an assist for a
great four point night. Adam Wilcox
of the Reapers also had a great night scoring a hat trick. The
Blues' Laird Dyck,
Lynden Dyck,
Derek Hamill, and
Andrew Griffin all had big
two point games. The Reapers' goalie
Tyler Carrigal stopped
32 shots including 17 in the second period.
Chris Shurville and
Domenic Niro added two points apiece for the Reapers.

3-19. All 10 Blues got at
least a point. Tim Cross led
all Blues with an unbelievable eight points.

Laird Dyck each had great four
point nights. Tim Buckley and
Scott Atkinson had big
games with three points apiece.

Lynden Dyck each had two
points.

Rockets.
