Division AA Bronze
Medal: Flyers vs. Black Bulls on Monday, April 3rd

The
Flyers defeated the
Black Bulls in game two, by the
score of 10-3, to win the CAHL 2005-2006
Bronze Medal. The trio of
Chris Dowsett,
Brian Santangelo, and
Bryan McMillan led the
way for the Flyers. Chris Dowsett
had an amazing seven point game,
Brian Santangelo had an
incredible six point night, and
Bryan McMillan finished
with an outstanding five point game.
Todd Reidy had a great three
point night and
Marty Webber scored two
goals.
Kelly Lyness had an
excellent game making 29 saves on 32 shots for a great .906 save
percentage.
Kayle Ludwar had a
great three point night for the Black Bulls.
Ryan Travis and
Rob MacEachern both
had big two point games.
Dean Dueck added an
assist and
Jeff Gilbert tuned
aside 26 shots.

Playoffs: Divers vs.
Flyers on Monday, March 13th

The score was tied 9-9
with just 21 seconds remaining in the game when
Kevin Lewis made an amazing
pass to
Brent Gay who went in alone on
the breakaway to score an incredible series winning goal. The
Divers will advance to the finals after
defeating the Flyers
10-9 to win the best of three semi-finals
2-0.
Brent Gay finished the game
with an awesome total of four goals and one assist.
Craig Bezjack had two
goals and five assists for an incredible seven point game.
Kevin Lewis and
Jason Miller both had great
four point nights.
Jarret Mann had a big three
point game.
Tyler Brown got a solid two
points and
Ryan Marien picked up an
assist.
Steve Miller turned aside
30 shots including some great point blank saves.
Chris Dowsett and
Brian Santangelo both
had an outstanding game for the Flyers.
Chris Dowsett scored four
times and got three assist for a total of seven points.
Brian Santangelo also
scored four goals and picked up a pair of assists for a total of
six points. Todd Reidy had a
great game including scoring a top corner goal on a perfect feed
from
Bryan McMillan.
Todd Reidy had three points
and
Bryan McMillan got two.
Marty Webber added an
assist.
Kelly Lyness played
unbelievable for the Flyers making incredible saves throughout
the game including a Dominik Hasek type reverse glove save while
down on the ice and a great point blank pad stack glove save.

Flyers on Tuesday, March 7th

The Divers
beat the Flyers
6-3 in game one of the best
of three semi-finals.
Brent Gay and
Kevin Lewis led the way for
the Divers with great three point nights.
Brent Gay scored twice
including a short handed goal with just 2:06 remaining in the
game to give the Divers a three goal lead.
Kevin Lewis also had two
goals and an assist. Robby Mckeen,
Bob Faktor,
Vince Pitt, and
Jarret Mann all had solid
two point nights.
Craig Bezjack added an
assist, and goalie
Steve Miller turned aside
16 shots.
Duane Madsen topped all Flyers with a two point night. Flyer
goalie
Kelly Lyness made 32 saves
including 13 in the second period.

Brian Santangelo all

Kelly Lyness made 33 saves
in the win. Pat Sutherland
had a great game for the Rockets with a goal and three assists.

big game with three points.

Chaynne Klatt all had
solid two point games. Rockets goalie
Phil Bonk turned aside 35
shots.

Flyers vs. Blues:
Tuesday, November
22nd
The
Flyers lost to the
Blues
6-7 in one of the most
dramatic games of the season. Tied 4-4 with only 2:05 left in
the third period,
Derek Hamill of the Blues
scored to take a 5-4 lead. Just 27 seconds later, at 1:38,
Brian Santangelo scored
for the Flyers to tie the game at 5-5. A mere 16 seconds after
that, and with only 1:22 left to go,
Ben Van Der Lee scored for
the Blues to take the lead once again. Only 18 seconds later at 1:04,
Brian Santangelo scores
again to tie the game up one more time for the Flyers. That was
Brian Santangelo's
second goal within a 34 second span and also his third and hat
trick goal of the game. The last 1:04 of the third period
trickled down without any more goals meaning a shootout was
needed to decide the outcome. After all the shooters went for
the Flyers and the first four shooters for the Blues, the
shootout was tied at 2-2. The Blues fifth shooter,
Ben Van Der Lee, scored the
shootout and game winning goal ending one of the most exciting
games of the season.

apiece.

Shootout: Flyers vs. Rockets
Duane Madsen scored the go ahead goal for the
Flyers with 2:13 remaining in the third
period to take the 3-2 lead.
Daniel Pelletier
responded with just 0:55 left on the clock to tie the game and
send it into a shootout. The shootout was tied after the first
four shooters from each team with
Duane Madsen scoring for the Flyers and
Steve Brandon scoring for
the Rockets. The Flyers' fifth shooter
Ian Kenney scored the
shootout and game winning goal ending the thrilling game. The
final score was 4-3.
Marty Madsen and
Duane Madsen also had big games for the Flyers with a goal
and an assist each. Rocket
Steve Brandon had another
great night with two goals and an assist for his fifth three
point or better game this season.

The
Flyers
lost to the Reapers
6-7.
Domenic Niro had an incredible six point game for the
Reapers scoring a hat trick and adding three assists. His third
goal of the game at 5:54 of the second period was also his 50th
career point. Adam Wilcox
also had a great game for the Reapers collecting four points.
Daniel Wallace and
Derek Wilcox contributed
two points each. The Flyers were led by
Brian Santangelo and
Dan Canfield who both had
big three point nights.
Levi Pittman added a pair
of goals.

total of 11 different Blues' players got at least one point in
the game. Ben Van Der Lee

twice. Blues president and GM

night with a goal and an assist. Matt Mosley
added three assists and Dorlan Schik
posted the shutout.
